Leaving a Legacy to the Hospice Care Foundation

We live in an extraordinarily generous community. Many people who share their financial blessings while they are alive are concerned that their contributions will be missed when they are no longer here. They are correct. Nationally, only 3-5% of probated wills include gifts to charity. Locally, that percentage is estimated to be nearer 1-2%.

Gifts may come in the form of money, property, insurance, an investment or a percentage of an estate. While some gifts may be large, many are $100 or less. Sometimes there are tax advantages when leaving assets to a charity. Leaving something to the Hospice Care Foundation is the easiest possible way to help sustain our foundation for future generations. Even small gifts matter. If donors consider changing their minds and leaving a legacy to the Foundation then thousands of dollars could be raised to sustain its programs and operations.
