COO & Advisory Council

KEVI BERGER – CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Kevi is a Montana native who graduated from Charlo High School in 1991.  She completed her AA degree as a Legal Secretary in 1996 and went on to earn a BS in Business Management in 2006.  She has completed Middle Manager’s Training and is a graduate of the Strom Thurmond Leadership Institute (Clemson University).

Kevi was hired at the Hospice Care Foundation in June 2008 after having been a nonprofit executive for nearly 11 years.  She brings with her many years of nonprofit accounting and management experience.  In 2003, she was awarded the National Service to Youth Award from Boys & Girls Clubs of America and then received an Unsung Hero Award from KPAX TV (Kalispell) in 2006 for her work as the Executive Director of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Flathead Reservation.

Kevi currently resides in Missoula with her husband Eric and they have three children and three dogs.

Advisory Council

The Advisory Council is made up of community members similar to the Board of Directors. The Council Members act as advisors to the Board on special projects and activities. Although these members may attend board meetings and offer their opinions they do not have an actual vote on board decisions.

The Board relies on the Council to provide their experience and expertise in regards to issues such as marketing, public relations, Medicaid issues, government policies, federal and state issues, grant making opportunities, legal issues and other items as the present themselves.
